Report of the conference for the establishment of the Union of African Railways : Addis Ababa, 18 - 23 September 1972
As a result of the recommendation calling for the establishment of a Union of African Railways, Managers and Senior Officials of the Railways Administrations in Africa who attended the Seminar on Modern Railway Operations and Traction organized by the German Foundation for Developing Countries, in May/June 1970, the secretariat placed the subject in its Programme of Work and Priorities which was approved by the Conference of Ministers held in Tunis, in February 1971.
