Report of the Joint ECA/ ADB/WORLD Bank Highway Maintenance: seminar II
The topic for discussion related to a basic principle of management which should not he neglected but rather adhered to with utmost seriousness. The approach to the problem should be systematic particularly since effective highway maintenance is a profitable exercise for countries, It was a fact that highway construction and maintenance requires largo amounts of money but strict and methodic management of highways should ensure good performance of the whole highway network.
