Report of the seventh meeting of the Africa regional coordinating committee on the integration of women in development
African countries shall devote a greater proportion of.their resources to the promotion of women in development in order to reduce dependence on external aid, and there was a need for co-ordination of efforts for the promotion of women between the United Nations system, governments and non-governmental organizations.
