Report of the fourth conference of African ministers of social affairs
The Fourth Conference of African Ministers of Social Affairs was held at Africa Hall, Addis Ababa, from 25 to 26 March 1985. It was organized and convened by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the Organization of African Unity (OAU).The Conference was preceded by an Intergovernmental Expert Group meeting which took place in Addis Ababa from 18 to 22 March 1985. The Conference was called to order by Mr. Yemane Araya, Vice-Minister of Labour and Social Affairs in his capacity as Chairman of the Third Conference of African Ministers of Social Affairs.
