Report of the seminar on the management of public enterprises
A seminar on the Management of Public Enterprises, organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, was held in Bizerte, Tunisia, from 9-20 December 1968. This was the first seminar on this topic to be held under United Nations auspices in Africa, but it followed an Inter regional Seminar on Organization and Administration of Public Enterprises held in Geneva, Switzerland from 26 September to 4 October 1966 which in turn, was preceded by seminars on similar topics held in Rangoon in 1954 and in New Delhi in 1959.
