Test and Treat
The COVID-19 pandemic underlined, exposed, and exacerbated vast global inequity in healthcare. Health systems and access to health that was already fragile or precarious was worsened,and existing global dynamics in access to commodities were magnified. In addition to globalvaccine apartheid, access to COVID-19 tests, therapeutics, and other medical interventions thatcould alter the course of the disease and save lives was severely hampered among most of theworld living in marginalized or poor countries and communities.
