Suelos forestales de la región Centro-Oeste de España. I. Características químicas y fisicoquímicas.
[EN] The present paper discuse the relations between the phpicochemical and chemical properties of thirteen forcsted soils of Centre-West Spain. On the whole the soils studied show a marked acidity, except in those place where calcosodic feldespars has been preserved. Humification in soils at <<Sierrad e Gatan is more active than that at <Sierra de Francia,,, and it is towards North of *Sierra de Gredos* where poorer soils in organic matter and exchange capacity levels, respectively, can he found. Accordingly, the soils are phosphorus deficient and locally in potasium too. The soils under conifers show some signs of podsolization.
