The microbiological transformation of some ent-7a,15B-dihydroxykaurene derivatives by Gibberella fujikuroi
The microbiological transformation by the fungus Gibberella fujikuroi of ent-7a,15B-dihydroxy-kaur-16-ene gave, ent-7a,15B,19-trihydroxy-kaur-16-ene, ent-7a,11a,16B-trihydroxykaur-16-ene, ent-7a,11a,15B,16B,17-pentahydroxy-kaurane end ent-7a,11a,13,15B-tetrahydroxy-kaur-16-ene.ent-7a,15B,18-trihydroxy-kaur-16-ene (eubotriol) aflored ent-7a,11a,15B,18-tetrahydroxy-kaur-16-ene, ent-7a,15B,18,19-tetrahydroxy-kaur-16-ene, ent-7a,17,18-trihydroxy-15B,16B-epoxy-kaurane (epoxysideritriol), and ent-7a,17,18,19-tetrahydroxy-kaur-15-ene. The last three compounds were identified as their acetate derivatives.
