The microbiological transformation of 14$,19-dihydroxy-ent-kaur-15-ene by Gibberella fujikuroi
The biotransformation by the fungus Gibberella fujikuroi of the diterpene ent-14$,19-dihydroxy-kaur-15-ene gave ent-14$,15$.19-trihydroxy-kaur-16-ene, ent-14$,15$19-trihydroxy-11$,16$-epoxy-kaurane, ent-15$16$-epoxy-7$,14$,19-trihydroxy-kaurane, ent-7$,14$,19-trihydroxy-kaur-15-ene, ent7$,14$-dihydroxy-15$,16$-epoxy-kauran-19-oic acid, ent-7$,14$-dihydroxy-kaur-15-en-19-oic acid, ent-6$,7$,14$-trihydroxy-kaur-15-en-19-oic acid, ent-6$,7$,14$,15$-tetrahydroxy-kaur-16-en-19-oic acid and ent-15$,16$-epoxy-6$,7$,14$-trihydroxy-kauran-19-oic acid. The 14$-hydroxy-15$,16$-epoxy-GA$ was the sole gibberellin obtained in this incubation.
