Materiales amorfos (SiO2, Al2O3 y Fe2O)2 en intergrados andosol-tierra parda oligotrófica de las Islas de Tenerife y Gomera

The amorphous contents of iron and aluminium oxides and hydroxides are studied in five profiles of Integrades Andosol-Oligotrophic Brown Earth of the Canary Islands (Gomera and Tenerife). These amorphous materials have also been related to the crystalline foirms of these elements. Amorphous forms of silica are also determined. Maximum Al2O3 values were found in the upper horizons where andic characteristics are evident. Great quantities of iron oxides and hydroxides are present in all horizons of these soils in very soluble forms.
