The essential oil of Salvia gilliesii Benth.
The hydrodistilled essential oil of Salvia gilliesii Benth. was studied by GC and GC/MS. Thirty-nine compounds representing 89.56% of the oil were characterized. Major constituents of the oil were β-caryophyllene (14.42%), germacrene-D (11.47%) and bicyclogermacrene (28.44%). © 1993 Allured Publishing Corp.
