A new method aimed at using the dominance variance in closed breeding populations

In the framework of a progeny test selection scheme, the method basically consists of performing 1) minimum coancestry matings in order to obtain the progenies that will constitute the commercial population and that will also be utilized for testing purposes, and 2) maximum coancestry matings from which the population will be propagated. -from Author
