Caracterización de los lignitos garumnienses del Pirineo Central catalán.

[EN] The organic matter uf the Tremp Formation, a Garumnian sequence placed in Berga, Tremp and Ager (Central Pyrenees), has a humie composition derived from terrestrial plants being characterized five resinite groups. Ihe mineral phases determined being, mainly carbonates, appear intimately associated with macerals, as celí lumens or infilling celí walls replacing and, interbedded with the organic matter. Their nature and the period of sedimentation are related with the depositional environment. Maturity and source rock potential of organic rich beds in the Garumnian sequences are investigated using reflected light mícroscopy. The results are compared with other rank parameters (rock-eval, calurific value and diagenetic mineral matter). The vitrinite reflectance (Ro 0.35- 0.45) and the rock-eval Tmax (430ºC) are 10w and homogeneous in the studied areas. This values indicate that the rank of the samples fit tu an immature digenetie state bordering maturity, close tu the oil window. The parameters, namely calurific value bigger than 24 MJ/Kg wet sample without ashes and vitrinite reflectance lower than 0.50%, indicate ifie subbituminous cual rank for the Garumnian cuals. A guod digenetic correlation between the mineral matter diagenesis and the urganic matter maturity is found. The relatiunships determined between inorganic and organic phases in the Garumman subbituminous cual indicate a low-grade transformation, consequence of a 10w lithostatic pressure. The petrugraphic studies carried out indicate that the coal-forming peat was stored in a predominantly forest-muur swamp environment. The liptinite assemblage suggests a subtropical and damp climate during cual depusitiun. The amuunt of organic matter decreases within the sedimentary sequence tu the uppermost deposits analyzed. Paleoenvironments were similar in the Berga. Tremp and Ager areas. It is also possible that the three areas originally were part of the same basin placed norther.
