Purificación y acondicionamiento del gas de gasificación de biomasa

[EN] The biomass gasification process produces a gas susceptible of use in boilers, engines, gas turbine and steam turbine (combined cycle), fuel cells and chemical synthesis. Nevertheless it is necessary a previous gas purification and conditioning step with the objective of eliminating contaminants at levels sufficiently low to comply with environmental regulations and with the tolerance of gas conversion systems, adjusting the CO/H2 ratio and improving the quality of the gas prior to its energy use or its conversion into clean fuels (H2 and synthetic fuels, etc.) and contributing to the progressive reduction of emissions responsible for acidification (NH3) and the greenhouse effect (CO2, CH4). This work aims to provide general and informative insight on the different biomass gasification gas cleaning and conditioning technologies available today, with an indication of their level of development.
