Dynamic Controlled Atmosphere for apple storage
This work was carried out during the three seasons since 1974 to 1977, at the Instituto del Frio-CSIC, and it was the subject of the Doctoral Theses of R.Alique, directed by J.L. De la Plaza, who presented it at the Meeting of Commissions B2, C2 and D1 of the International Institut of Refrigeration, in Sofia ( Bulgaria) , year 1982. The first definition of DCA was made by J.L.de la Plaza , in the CEF-CSIC Annual Report for 1975.The concept of DCA (" Atmósfera Controlada Dinámica" ) is now extended in the scientific communnity, nevertheless with different programme for the atmosphere composition.
