The structure and ecological function of the interactions between plants and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi through multilayer networks [Dataset]

Description of the data and file structure: pamf.jaen.csv: Plant-AMF interaction matrix of Jaén. It represents number of samples of a given plant species in which a certain VT appears, relative to the total number of samples of that species at each sampling site in Jaén.-- pamf.segura.csv: Plant-AMF interaction matrix of Segura. It represents number of samples of a given plant species in which a certain VT appears, relative to the total number of samples of that species at each sampling site in Segura.-- rec.jaen.csv: Plant-plant interaction matrix (i.e. Recruitment matrix) of Jaén. It represents the recruitment frequency in Jaén, i.e. number of individuals of a given plant species recruiting beneath a given canopy plant in Jaén.-- rec.segura.csv: Plant-plant interaction matrix (i.e. Recruitment matrix) of Segura. It represents the recruitment frequency in Segura, i.e. number of individuals of a given plant species recruiting beneath a given canopy plant in Segura.-- ASV_VT.xlsx: List of Amplicon Sequence Variants (ASV) and their corresponding Virtual Taxa (VT) assignment by blasting against MaarjAM database. First four columns show genebank accession numbers, ASV ID, VT assigment and the used representative ASV per VT. Seven last columns show blast results against MaarjAM database.-- VT_table.csv: Number of reads of the VTs analysed across samples.
