Producing natural language from semantic information
The problem of producing natural language sentences expressing given semantic information is briefly discussed in terms of a general processor which takes linguistic information as a possible 'program' and produces natural language sentences for input expressions containing information in a neutral format. The most remarkable aspect of the approach is that the production process is directed by semantic factors and based on case frames instead of the usual phrase structures.
