Colombia: economic trends and perspectives

This work shows why Colombia stands out in the Latin American context as a very stable economy, free of the booms and busts typical of other countries, setting down the long term trends like the economic growth, the inflation, the fiscal situation and external debt and the balance of payments, exchange rate and international reserves. Also explains the structural reforms under which that argument supports, such as the imports liberalization, the trade negotiations, the foreign exchange operation and investment, the labor and social security regimes, the financial sector reforms and the tax reforms.
