Malawi: Project Highlights - OSRO/MLW/088/GER
The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, through the Special Fund for Emergency and Rehabilitation Activities, contributed USD 500 000 to the FAO project, "Anticipatory action interventions to mitigate the negative effects of dry spells in the southern region of Malawi during the planting season 2023/24", which was implemented from 1 October 2023 to 31 March 2024. The project aimed to mitigate the potential negative effects of dry spells among vulnerable smallholder farming households and their livelihoods in Malawi.
