Priorities for FAO in the region under the FAO Strategic Framework 2022-31
In order to accelerate progress and maximize efforts in meeting the SDGs and to realize the four betters, FAO will apply four accelerators (Technology, Innovation, Data and Complements - governance, human capital and institutions) and three cross-cutting themes (Gender equality, Youth, Inclusion) in all programmatic interventions to accelerate impact while minimizing trade-offs. FAO in the region will also implement corporate strategies and initiatives, including the Hand-in-Hand Initiative, One Country One Priority Product and the 1 000 Digital Villages Initiative.
