Traditional fishing tourism in Gökova bay / Gökova Körfezi'nde geleneksel balıkçılık turizmi
This brochure has been prepared in the framework of FAO’s Technical Cooperation Programme (TCP) Blue Hope Initiative in the Mediterranean Sea project for the pilot pescatourism tours that will operate in the project area in Turkey, Gokova Bay, to familiarize potential visitors with the concept of traditional fishing tourism, including location, duration and cost. The objective of the Technical Cooperation Programme is to strengthen the capacity of Government, key institutions and stakeholders in Turkey, Algeria and Tunisia to develop and implement integrated, multi-sectoral tools and investment programmes using the FAO Blue Growth Initiative (BGI) framework in order to make these sectors more productive and sustainable, the associated value chains more efficient and inclusive, and to reduce rural poverty. Bu broşür, FAO'nun Akdeniz'de Mavi Umut Girişimi Teknik İşbirliği Programı (TİP) projesi çerçevesinde, Türkiye'deki proje alanı Gökova Körfezi'nde gerçekleştirilecek pilot geleneksel balıkçılık turizmi turları için potansiyel ziyaretçileri geleneksel turizm konseptiyle tanıştırmak, turların yeri, süresi ve maliyeti hakkında bilgi vermek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Bu Teknik İşbirliği Programı’nın amacı, Türkiye, Cezayir ve Tunus'taki hükümetlerin, kilit kurumların ve paydaşların, FAO Mavi Büyüme Girişimi (MBG) çerçevesini kullanarak entegre, çok sektörlü araçlar ve yatırım programları geliştirme ve uygulama kapasitesini güçlendirmektir. Aynı zamanda, bu sektörlerin daha üretken ve sürdürülebilir olması, ilişkili değer zincirlerinin daha verimli ve kapsayıcı olması ve kırsal yoksulluğun azaltılması konularında teknik destek sağlamaktadır.
