Fascicules pedagogiques sur les Boutiques d'intrants.

In a context of food insecurity and poverty of soils, FAO in collaboration with the government of Niger initiated in 2008 the project IARBIC “Intensification of agriculture by strengthening cooperative agro-input shops”. The project aimed to contribute to improving food security of the most vulnerable populations. This was achieved by ensuring the availability of inputs through the network of input shops and by improving agricultural practices through FFS and strengthening farmers’ organizations. This booklet on how to monitor and evaluate an input shop, is intended to be a practical guide to extension workers, farmers and their producer organizations (POs) in running an input shop. Various steps and tools are provided for following-up and improving the performance of input shops. The publication contributes to SO2 1.3.and SDG 2.
