Approaches and best practices for facilitating access to rural finance/ micro-finance services for small-scale fisheries and aquaculture in Southeast Asian countries
RFLP funded a desk study review of micro-finance services available to coastal small-scale fisher communities and aquaculture in Southeast Asia with special attention to women. The findings and recommendations to stimulate livelihoods diversification were presented at the APFIC/FAO Regional consultative workshop on Best practices to support and improve the livelihoods of small-scale fisheries and aquaculture households, 13 to 15 October 2009, Manila, Philippines
