Ubicarse "aquí y ahora"
Para el sociólogo Lautaro Ojeda, el investigador periodístico debe ubicarse dentro del contexto económico, social, político y cultural, y además "sacarle tiempo al tiempo para lograr productos consistentes, sostenibles y representativos". Esto exige esfuerzo de síntesis, creatividad, honestidad y capacidad de distanciamiento para aprehender la fuerza de los hechos y datos objeto de la investigación periodística.
