Varios han sido los esfuerzos de agremiación del magisterio ecuatoriano que han tenido su afirmación cuando las corrientes políticas y el vivir gubernamental han proporcionado un clima propicio a su florecimiento y cada uno de estos movimientos ha hecho su crisis cuando los brotes de individualismo y de ambición han socavado los cimientos de la organización.
