Some of the fascinating essays in this issue include reflections on Southeast Asian studies after area studies from the 2021 Graduate Student Conference keynote given by SEAP faculty Juno Salazar Parañas; discussions of Vietnamese and Vietnamese American studies by SEAP graduate student Vinh Phu Pham; and a stunning photo essay by visiting artist from Burma Min Ma Naing complemented with an account of her outreach to community colleges written by one of SEAP Outreach’s Community College Internationalization Fellows, Jasna Bogdanovska.
