Premiers résultats de lutte contre Tylenchulus semipenetrans Cobb dans les vergers d'agrumes du Maroc

A survey done in 1961-62 in ail areas of Morocco where citrus are grown showed that the Citrus-raot nematode is overspread. The datas of count informed that sometimes the in'festations are very important. Until 1970 experiment of contrai have been undertaken with Dibramochloroprapane (DBCP), Phenamiphos (Nemacur R) and Prophos (Mocap R). Datas are given on nematode populations counts. Decrease of nematode infestation is higher in DBCP plot. Very good results are obtained with the two other compounds of which Phenam/phos is the more active. A discussion is presented on the significance of the counts of larvae in the soi/. They are a relation of the development of the nematode occured in the previous months, but not necessari/y with the raot infestation at the moment the count is done, neither with the rate of /arvae penetration in fol/owing months. Observations in the contrai plots al/owed some observations on the evolution of infestations in the year and from year to year. A special technique for extraction of larvae of T. semipenetrans from soif is given.
