Creative participatory methodologies for protected areas management: New approaches and challenges Experience of the SimParc Serious Game
This poster will present our experience about innovative participatory methodologies for protected areas management. Our research project named SimParc is based on a serious game (distributed role-playing game with advanced computer support) inspired by the negotiation and decision process taking place between stake holders and park manager in a management council of a Brazilian national park. We will summarize our project design and experience and exchange ideas and questions with the audience.
