Imagens digitais de raios x aplicadas na caracterização anatômica e física de folha, semente e madeira de folhosas e coníferas

The use of digital image X-ray is one of the most advanced methods of non-destructive analysis and enabling reconstruction of anatomical structures and physical differences in shades of gray in wood and its products. The work applied to the analysis of X-ray images by digital X-ray equipment Faxitron Model LX-60 with an intensity of 30 kV for 19 seconds to evaluate the anatomy and densitometric profile of the leaf of Eucalyptus grandis, seed of Tectona grandis and wood of Pinus caribaea var. hondurensis. The analysis of digital images of macro and microscopic structure of the leaf, seed and wood by ImageJ software, allowed the construction of densitometric profiles. Highlight the advantages of analysis of digital image X-ray, compared to other methods of anatomical and physical analysis, the integrity of samples after analysis, density measurements in micron ranges, quick and easy to interpret.
