Applying risk assessment methodology for plague in China. Long distance support : 28th april to 7th june 2012

A one week intensive teaching module entitled "Risk assessment methodology for infectious disease events" has been delivered in April 2012 as part of the technical support given by WHO CO to China CDC and MoH to develop a national risk assessment guideline. One objective of this training was to start a qualitative risk assessment of Plague in China. After the training, a 6 weeks distance supervision between the expert from CIRAD and the person in charge of plague risk assessment was carried out. This report is showing the progress of the demonstration project on plague. Conceptual framework and the qualitative analysis should be presented during the second workshop in June for review and validation before the complete expert opinion meeting will be implemented.
