Development of clonal rootstock in Hevea building-up new varietal type : a multi-faceted challenges

In vitro propagation of rubber tree through microcutting technique was developed by CIRAD French team early in the 1990's. Development of rubber tree microcutting by CIRAD (France) and IBRIEC/IRRI (Indonesia) and the prospective steps of hevea rootstock clones development will be discussed in this article. completely mastered and assessed in field.
