Quality improvement and quality control of african natural rubber : UNOPS/CFC meeting in Cote d'Ivoire from 6th to 15th December, 2001
The terms of reference fixed for this mission were as follows: 1. - Technical meeting with the managers of the project central laboratories (CTL) to analyse the results of the second set of interlaboratory proficiency tests and prepare for a set of variability trials. 2. - Project apparaisal meeting with the representatives from CFC, IRSG and UNOPS. 3. - Technical support to the CNRA-Bimbresso laboratory in Côte d'Ivoire for start-up of the MTS extensometer purchased under the project, which was not operational. The Project Coordinator was unable to assemble all the laboratory managers to examine the results of the second set of interlaboratory proficiency test. This mission report takes stock of the meetings held with project officials (CFC, IRSG, UNOPS, CNRA) and of technical support provided to the CNRA-Bimbresso laboratory.
