Rapport de mission, Irvine, Californie, 4-7 octobre 2001. Special workshop on agent-based models of land use / land cover change
La mission avait pour objet de participer à un atelier de travail restreint sur invitation, concernant l'usage des modèles multi-agents pour les travaux sur les dynamiques d'occupation et de gestion des terres ("Agent-Based models of land-use and land-cover change"). L'atelier était co-organisé par l'équipe d'E. Ostrom (Center for the Study of Institutions, Population, and Environmental Change -CIPEC) et le département de géographie de l'Université de Santa Barbara-Californie (Center for Spatially Integrated Social Science -CSISS). L'atelier s'est tenu à Irvine, dans la banlieue de Los Angeles, en marge d'un grand colloque international portant sur les modèles multi-agents et réunissant les Plus grands chercheurs sur le thème (colloque "NAS": "Arthur M. Sackler Colloquium of the National Academy of Sciences on "Adaptive Agents, Intelligence and Emergent Human Organization: Capturing Complexity through Agent-Based Modeling").
