A la suite d'une enquête effectuée au Kanem (Nord-Ouest du Tchad), 14 personnes sur 189 peuvent être considérées comme ayant réagi positivement au test de CASONI, soit 7,4 p. 100. Le problème de l'existence de l'hydatidose humaine au Tchad se trouve ainsi posé
