La recherche et la filière café au Kenya

Au Kenya, l'agriculture est le premier secteur d'activité. Le café Arabica doux produit, représente actuellement 25 % des recettes d'exportation. La principale méthode de traitement des cerises de café est la voie humide. Cet article décrit dans le détail la filière de commercialisation interne ainsi que la structure et le mode de financement de la recherche caféière. Le Coffee Board, organisme régulateur, est chargé de favoriser et de coordonner la vente du café. Il joue aussi partiellement le rôle d'interface entre la recherche et le secteur industriel.
