La mission du responsable du laboratoire d'Entomologie du CIRAD-GERDAT avait deux objectifs : d'une part, la participation au Symposium sur la taxonomie des Chalcidoidea, avec la présentation de la communication "Current problems concerning the classification of the Chalcididae, with particular emphasis on the subfamily Chalcidinae", et d'autre part l'examen de la collection du Biosystematic Research Centre à Ottawa (CAN)
