Jimmy Carter and Ryoichi Sasakawa visits the Sasakawa Global 2000 Sudan Program
Founded by Norman Borlaug, Jimmy Carter and Ryoichi Sasakawa. The SG 2000 Sudan was launched for the improvement of sorghum, millet and wheat, the quality protein maize (QPM) also was introduced by Mexican scientists and was leaded by Dr. Ignacio Narvaez also a CIMMYT's scientist lately 80's.
