Global Climate Change: Why does it Matter for the CGIAR?

Presentation by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Chairman and World Bank Chief Scientist Robert T. Watson on the implications of global climate change for sustainable development, biodiversity, crop yields and ecosystems, and the potential effectiveness of mitigation measures. The presentation provides evidence that developing countries are particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
