TAC position paper on agricultural biotechnology and the principles guiding its use by CGIAR centers. With some elaboration the paper follows an oral presentation on the subject made at the Mid Term Meeting in May 1988, and approved by the Group at that time. Agenda document at TAC 45, and the CGIAR meeting in October-November 1988.
