Variations du poids vif et du rendement en viande de boeufs zebus de l'Adamaoua au cours de la saison seche

Studies the effect of dry season on meat production of Adamawa Zebus in Cameroun. Two batches of 35 zebus from the local market were used to work out the losses in meat output during the dry season. A drop of 18 percent in the live weight and a highly significant positive correlation between the thoracic perimeter and the live weight were recorded. Meat output (51,5 p. 100) stayed the same during the dry season.
