EPAs
After the completion of the first (all-ACP) phase of the EPA negotiations, both parties and other analysts have commented extensively. The EU are emphasising the progress made, while the ACP side point to numerous areas where agreement was not reached. The European Research Office has tabulated the areas of agreement and divergence. Meanwhile Phase 2 regional negotiations have commenced between western and central African countries and the EU.
