INCUBATOR IDEAS

Sylvestre Woumbondi, Maroua, Cameroon: 'We would like to to share with you our experience at this college with artificial incubation of chicken and guinea fowl eggs. The type of incubator we used, which is made locally, allows us to obtain a hatching success rate of between 75% and 80%. The method of incubation is practically the same as that described in the Agrodok Series No. 34, pages 23-28 with one small difference; the eggs have to be turned twice, once in the morning and once in the evening.'
