Computers serving plant pathology

The way that biological information is handled has been revolutionised by the computer and other electronic tools, collectively known as 'information technology'. This set of papers from a 1996 conference organised by the British Society for Plant Pathology and the Systematics Association, describes how computers are being used in plant pathology. Use ranges from species identification and diagnosis to management of diseases, computer-based teaching and information sharing. The book is of special interest to workers in plant pathology, biosystematics and taxonomy. Information Technology, Plant Pathology and Biodiversity.
