Making energy a priority
Energy is an essential dimension of all rural development programmes, and it is therefore vital to identify energy needs at an early stage so that they can be integrated into project design. Energy inputs have been shown to be particularly valuable in enhancing the benefits of other rural investments and failure to plan properly for energy requirements may jeopardize the success of an entire project.
