Gliricidia seeds

The Oxford Forestry Institute (OFI) is now starting seed distribution for their international provenance trail for Gliricidia sepium. Small experimental quantities are available free of charge to researchers who wish to participate in the trial. Requests for seeds should reach OFI at least four months before they are needed and must include any necessary import permits or special instructions about compulsory pesticide treatments. Brief site details of latitude, altitude, soil and climate would also be useful in selecting provenances. Two alternative experimental designs are proposed: alley cropping with maize and pure plots.
