This classic manual on Reforestation in Arid Lands has been updated and broadened to include all of arid Africa and is thus applicable to many other dry areas. Apart from dozens of new illustrations and a revised reference section, a whole chapter has been added on agroforestry developments. Although de signed primarily for use by foresters, this manual should be of interest to farmers as well.
