Coffee coal

Coffee shells make an excellent fuel and such 'kahawa' or coffee coal has been selling very well since it was put on the market `several months: ago in Kenya. As its retail price is lower than that of charcoal, it has become very popular for householders. Its production has thus gone from 2,400 to 8,000 tonnes per year which will use almost all of the available coffee residues in Kenya.
