Parliamentary visit to CTA
A delegation from the joint ACP-EEC Working Group on 'Rural Development and Environmental Problems' visited the CTA on March 27,1986 to learn about the Centre's activities. Its members noted with interest the progress achieved by CTA since its creation, and expressed the hope that it will continue to help improve the dissemination of scientific and technical information in ACP countries in order to help increase their food independence whilst, at the same time, preserving their natural resources The Working Group is chaired by MEP Hemmo Muntingh and its secretary is MEP Djibril Sene.
