Hay making by pastoral women for improved calf management in Ethiopia: Labour requirements, opportunity costs, and feasibility of intervention
Studies labour requirements, opportunity costs, and problems of hay making by pastoral women for households involved in initial extension activities in 1990. It provides a close link of research with extension and reveals wether hay making could be a viable intervention. Includes data for hay making for Boran households and time budgets of activities foregone for three priority persons observed in 62 Boran households involved in hay making.
