Integration & Trade Journal: Volume 18: No. 38: January-June, 2014

The Inter-American Development Bank, in the context of its integration mandate in the region, has been working and supporting development actions in border areas and transboundary cooperation and integration by the creation of binational and regional agreements. This issue of the Integration & Trade Journal seeks to reflect various experiences in this field and includes a number of interesting contributions that explore the challenges and opportunities for improvements in terms of facilitation, security, integration, and development in border areas in different subregions of LAC.
